Fun with Pictures....

After being cooped up all day not feeling too well, I decided Laney and I needed to get out for a while this afternoon. So, we headed out to Winthrop plaza in Riverview to walk around and play a bit. I of course couldn't resist taking about a million pics of Laney while we were out! Mommy is asking Santa for a nice new camera this year, we'll see what happens :)

Anyway, enjoy the new pics!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Hello Family and Friends,

I realize it has been too long since my last post, I apologize! Seems like our lives have been so busy this last month, and doesn't look like it will be slowing down much for us until after the holidays. That's okay though, it's been good and fun things that have kept us so busy, so we are thankful! I am going to condense all of the last month's worth of pictures into this one post if possible, so enjoy! Check back soon for Christmas event pictures and posts. Merry Christmas to you all, hope you are enjoying your holiday season!

Thanksgiving was alot of fun. We stuffed ourselves silly as usual! We were anxious to see how Delaney would enjoy eating her first Thanksgiving meal, and to our surprise the only food she really cared about eating was the deviled eggs! I think she ate about 4 of them that day. Silly girl! She absolutley LOVED the Macey's Thanksgiving day parade! Thank goodness we taped it, I think I've had to watch it about 5 times since Thanksgiving day. She was beyond excited when the Yo Gabba Gabba gang came on! Her face lit up and she danced all around the room, she couldn't believe they were actually there at the parade! This age is so fun, she's so entertaining to us these days :)

We had so much fun decorating the tree with Laney this year. She is really into everything Christmas, this season has been so fun with her already! We can't wait to see her face when she gets up on Christmas morning!

Laney got to go see Santa and Mrs. Claus in the North Pole (also known as the Brandon Mall!). She had so much fun playing with the fake snow on the way up to see the big guy, and then when it was time to sit on his lap she sat very nice. She didn't cry, but you could tell she was a little unsure about it. When her turn was done she looked at Santa and said "Thank you, Merry Christmas!". My heart melted and I'm so glad that her first Santa experience was a good one! I'll be posting the actual pics of her with Santa as soon as I get them scanned.

Family Fun Friday!

Friday's are one of Mommy's days off from work, so when Daddy gets home in the evening we always try to have some family fun time! Tonight for dinner we had our first ever "taco night". They were SO very yummy and Delaney even ate a whole soft taco herself! After dinner was finished and all cleaned up, we decided to do a family craft project together. We made hand turkeys! Delaney had so much fun tracing our hands and coloring her turkey. We glued them on a seperate sheet to make a turkey family. She was so excited when it was all done, and we hung on the fridge so we can see our little turkey family every day. "Gobble, Gobble"!!! :)

22 Months Old!

I snapped a few pics of Delaney yesterday on her 22 month "birthday". She was way too interested in picking grass to stop and pose for the camera, but I thought I'd post these anyway. She is doing great! She has recently, over the last week made great strides in her potty training. She is starting to tell us when she has to go more now, and will even tell us and use the potty when we are away from home. We are extremely proud of her and hope to keep the momentum going! We think she is going through a growth spurt, as she has been eating us out of house and home and has experienced some interupptions in her sleeping habits. She is still sleeping great at night, but nap time has been a bit more difficult. We are keeping up with her normal routine, and hoping she goes back to normal soon. She has been cracking us up lately by making funny little jokes! It's amazing to us that she understands already how to be funny and that she already has such a sense of humor! She can't get enough of reading, we have started checking out books from the library for her because we've read through all of hers about a million times. She also loves to do puzzles, color, and of course watch "Yo Gabba Gabba". She also loves to play the rhyming game, I will say a word and she will shout out a word that rhymes. She gets a big kick out of it! It's hard to believe that in 2 short months our baby will be turning 2. Time is flying by way too fast! Enjoy the pics! :)

Halloween Fun!

This Halloween was very fun for Laney. From visiting the pumpkin patch, to picking out her costume she really could enjoy the festivities this year. She was SO excited to pick our her "Brobee" costume. For those of you who haven't seen the show, Brobee is a character from Laney's favorite show "Yo Gabba Gabba". She loved the costume so much that she insisted on wearing the hat and gloves to watch the show the day we brought it home. She's so silly!
Laney also got to dress up like a clown for a little bit. The clown costume has been passed down in Cory's family, so it was fun for Laney to have a turn to wear it as well. She was definitley the cutest little clown and Brobee monster that I have ever seen!
I had to work on Halloween night, so Daddy took Delaney over to Grandma and Grandpa's so she could show off her costume. They had a great time and Daddy took some pictures for me to see. It was pretty hot on Halloween this year, so Laney had a fun orange and black outfit to change into, since her Brobee costume was so warm! Enjoy the pics
